Party Snapshot ID

Browser-based event camera platform. Enables attendees to capture memorable moments via photos and voice notes by scanning a QR code, all unified in a real-time digital gallery.

Challenge

The client needed an interactive guestbook solution with custom branded frames and voice notes without requiring event attendees to download any third-party app.
  • High friction for guests downloading native mobile apps at live gatherings
  • Strict requirement for dynamic custom frames and branded event filters
  • Centralized real-time aggregation of photo captures and audio notes

Solution & Approach

Engineered a zero-install web camera web application using Nuxt.js and NestJS. Guests simply scan an on-table QR code to launch their mobile browser camera, apply custom overlays, and record voice notes.
  • Zero-install browser camera interface accessible on any smartphone
  • Dynamic custom filters and branding frames tailored per client event
  • Real-time MongoDB integration for high-concurrency photo and audio storage
